Who's Next Talent Showcase
The Who's Next Talent Showcase is a competitive event with the goal of showcasing the best talent that El Paso has to offer in the following categories:
Singing / Rapping, Bands, Dance, and Comedy.
Auditions Video / Entry:
*Each participant in the Who's Next Talent Showcase will be required to submit an audition video in MP4 formate no later than June 15, 2024 at 11:59 pm. All audition video should be no less than three (3) minutes and no longer than five (5) minutes.
Video must not be edited or produced in anyway. Our recommendation is to record a practice session or performance and submit this unedited video for consideration. We are looking for talent in your performance and not your editing skills.
All video submissions should be a wide angle showing all participants in one camera shot only. This camera shot should be continual and consistent throughout the entire performance.
*Only 1 submission per person/group may be submitted.
*For singers / rappers, there is to be no lip-syncing. All music used must be done so without background vocals / voices, as in karaoke. It must be the performers actual voice on the video recording and not a production doctored submittal.
*The Talent Showcase is open to all participants 13 and older. All participants younger than 18 must have written parental/guardian permission to participate in the actual Talent Showcase.
*The following categories will be available for performances:
- Singers
- Rappers
- Bands
- Comedians

Competition Dates and Prizes:
The Who's Next Talent Showcase will take place on Wednesday & Thursday on the following dates:
Bands will perform on the following dates:
July 2024: 3, 10, 17, & 24
The winners of these two categories will perform for the grand prize on July 31, 2024.
Singers / Rappers and Comedians will perform on the following dates:
July 2024: 4, 11, 18, & 25
The winners of these two categories will perform for the grand prize on July 31, 2024.
Each week, competitors will be competing for $150 prize per category. The 1st place winner in each category each week will walk away with the cash prize.
The Round of Champions will take place on July 31, 2024; the overall winner of each category will go head to head for the Who's Next Talent Showcase Crown and $500.
Competition Dates and Prizes:
The Who's Next Talent Showcase will take place on Wednesday & Thursday beginning July 3, 2024 and will last for 5 weeks.
Each category will have a maximum of 10 participant acts. Acts will be selected by video audition submissions by the Who's Next Talent Showcase selection committee.
Each week, acts will compete for a cash prize of $150 per category with the winner automatically advancing. Every week, 2 acts will be eliminated from the showcase with all remaining acts moving forward to the following week to participate for the $150 weekly cash prize. Each week acts will move forward in the following manner:
- Week 1 (July 3 & 4)
- Acts ranked nine (9) and 10 will be eliminated
- Acts one (1) thru eight (8) will move on the the next week to compete
- Overall 1st place winner will receive $150 at next weeks show.
- Week 2 (July 10 & 11)
- Acts ranked seven (7) and eight (8) will be eliminated
- Acts one (1) thru six (6) will move on the the next week to compete
- Overall 1st place winner will receive $150 at next weeks show.
- Week 3 (July 17 & 18)
- Acts ranked five (5) and six (6) will be eliminated
- Acts one (1) thru four (4) will move on the the next week to compete
- Overall 1st place winner will receive $150 at next weeks show.
- Week 4 (July 24 & 25)
- Acts ranked four (4) thru two (2) will be eliminated
- Act one (1) will be crowned the category winner and will move forward to the Round of Champions
- Overall 1st place winner will receive $250 at next weeks show.
- Round of Champions 5 (July 24 & 25)
- Acts ranked four (4) thru two (2) will be eliminated
- Act one (1) will be crowned the Who's Next Talent Showcase Champion
- Overall 1st place winner will receive $500 at next weeks show.
JUDGING
Each week contestants will compete head to head in each of the four (4) categories. Weekly winners will be decided by the following methods:
- Fan Voting Live and post event. All voting will be done via the our online Googles Form and will be tallied using Ranked Choice Voting to determine the winner of the Fan Vote. Fan Voting will count as 50% of the vote.
- Judges Voting. Each week a panel of 4 guest judges will judge our acts and provide their rankings of the acts. Judges voting will count 50% of the vote.
Averaging these two together, we will come with a final ranking per category to determine the weekly winners for Weeks 1-4.
For the Championship Round, a pannel of 5 Judges will determine the Who's Next Talent Showcase Champion.
